During what is – let’s be honest – the sh*ttiest weather season of the year, Slush brings together the leading actors of the global tech scene to Helsinki for something very special. Described by many as “Burning Man meets TED”, the event has grown in just a few short years to 20,000 attendees and 1 million live stream viewers.
Slush has grown from a 300 person assembly to a world-renowned event, now spreading globally. The philosophy behind Slush has remained the same: to help the next generation of great, world-conquering companies forward.
Tech events are usually impressively lined up with the most accomplished and triumphant: their success is surely easy to recognize, but what’s much harder is to dig into their best kept secrets and the real practices they preach and work by. This year, our on-stage and off-stage program is going all out to give you the best, hands-on advice by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs.
In 2017, over 2,600 startups, 1,600 investors, and 600 journalists from over 130 countries gathered to Slush to kick it with like-minded tech-heads while experiencing the phenomenal atmosphere.
So far so good
More investor visibility so far
Very good experience
Lot of things to see
Really good contacts 👌
This is my first impression about slush. Amazing talks
A lot of stuff
Real diversified crowd. Looking for more organized one to one
Interesting startups and business ops.
Really impressive - lot of diversity - interesting ppl - matchmaking could be
A good event but missing the true scope of slush
The finns know it!
Slush is a great opportunity for startups to get valuable information and contacts.
A perfect place to fund a range of different companies and discover entrepreneurship as a whole.
Great event with tons of business opportunities
Really good way to meet up with people and get new contacts
Loved the energy
It was epic. It was well organized. The stuff were very polite and helpful. Everything was well done.
Excellent planned serendipity once again. Inspiring launches and fruitful chance encounters, in addition to a few extremely productive working meetings.
Chaotic event, positive general vibe, poor organization on many levels, worst one being their event app & match making tools.
:-) :-) :-) Superb! Event not to be missed! Little crowded, food can be better...but still best event you can imagine.
It was overall okay, but not as good as last year (2016). Compared to 2016 the food was terrible, waste bins weren't easy to spot and traffic was horrible when walking through the alleys and booths before/after a keynote.
SLUSH was better when there was an impact track. More speakers from developing countries, particularly from Africa! Theme was great.
Overpriced showcase event.
Inspiring fun thought provoking Fabulous people and incredible organisation Incredible time keeping all events running to time
waste of time
Best Slush so far.
I especially enjoyed the pitching competition where I’ve seen bold ideas with potential and got inspired by excellent storytellers
